The online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released this week
First it will be available for the players who bought the Ultimate version, but on Friday everyone who had the videogame could enjoy it.
After reports that some players were already enjoying the online multiplayer mode of Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar Games announced that the option will launch its beta on November 27th.
Will all start with a beta and will only be available for the owners of the Ultimate edition of Red Dead Redemption 2. The next day, the online mode will be available for the gamers who have already played the game during the first day of release.
On November 29th it will be the turn for gamers who played through the first three days and then the access will be opened for all gamers from November 30th.
The multiplayer, which Rockstar has defined as an “evolution” of the experience that was already in the original game, will fuse narrative with competitive elements and with the cooperative options.
The players could explore the map in a solitary mode, and could also do such thing with friends, while the company will say “updates and adjustments to grow and evolve the experience for all”.
Red Dead Online launches Weapons Fever, a new battle royale mode
Red Dead Online continues forward in its beta phase period, but despite this Rockstar Games continues to work on improving it and take advantage of its fans’ tests and comments received. In that sense, with the update they have released today, they have presented their new game mode called Weapons Fever, a variant for up to 32 players in which to test our survival instinct and gather weapons and ammunition while reducing their area .
Improvements in the rewards system:
some changes will be made in the way the rewards system works in Red Dead Online in order to reduce the temptation to bother other players. Very soon, a reward will be offered for players who commit crimes and will be encouraged to pay them in a set time. If they wait too long, bounty hunters from all states will go after them, forcing them to pay or flee.
Changes in the truce system:
it will make the truce system easier to activate so you can avoid aggressive players more quickly. In addition, it will be easier to activate Disputes, Disputes between gangs and Disputes between gang leaders, which will allow players to face aggressors in a structured competition.
Players icons according to their proximity:
very soon, the players location icons will appear only when they are close, which will reduce the distance that others can see you and the probability that another player will attack you from afar. In addition, later on, we also want to implement the ability to identify players who damage and kill indiscriminately with an icon that will progressively darken and become more visible and at a greater distance. In this way, everyone in a session will be able to identify potentially dangerous adversaries at a glance and at a safe distance.
